Bealls to expand Toys for Tots program throughout Florida

HERALD STAFF REPORTOctober 24, 2013

BRADENTON -- Bealls Department Stores is partnering statewide with the Marine Corps Reserves in the Toys for Tots program this year. From Nov. 15 to Dec. 20, Toys for Tots drop-boxes will be placed in all 74 Bealls department stores in Florida. Bealls, with headquarters in Bradenton, has worked with the Manatee County Toys for Tots as a toy drop-off location for the past five years at its two stores in Bradenton.

"We are very pleased to have Bealls on board the 2013 Marine Toys for Tots Team," said retired Marine Major Bill Grein, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. "Their community service goals certainly align with those the Marine Corps has promoted for over 65 years through our Toys for Tots Program."
