Palmetto man arrested for failing to register as offender

MANATEE — A 49-year-old Palmetto man was arrested Wednesday on an outstanding warrant out of Hillsborough County for failure to register as a sex offender.

Furnell Jason Hodo was arrested at 1 p.m. at his current address, the 2200 block of Second Avenue East, Palmetto, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

Hodo was in the Manatee County jail Thursday on a $2,500 bond, according to the sheriff’s office website.
