Braden River sweepsto win on Senior Night

Junior Siena Kelley had 13 kills and senior Madison Jaco had 12 kills on Tuesday night as the Braden River volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 25-23, 25-17, 25-14 victory over visiting Cardinal Mooney.

Kelsea Guest, another senior, had 12 digs and four aces for the Pirates (14-9).

Cardinal Mooney got 12 kills from Keri McMahon and 15 digs from Maria Soscia. The Cougars won the junior varsity match 25-16, 25-12.

SAINT STEPHEN'S 3, SOUTHEAST 0 -- The host Falcons improved to 9-14 with a 25-19, 25-7, 25-18 triumph over the Seminoles (5-15).

Bryce Liebel had 22 assists, 11 digs and three aces for Saint Stephen's. Lauren Biach added 13 kills, six digs, four blocks and three aces.

Rischamily Robles paced Southeast with 15 digs.

PALMETTO 3, BOOKER 0 -- Seniors Danielle Deterding, Jessica Wood, Karissa Cummins and Ashley Olmstead led the way for the host Tigers (5-14), who marked Senior Night with a 25-15, 25-21, 25-21 win.

Deterding ripped 14 kills, Wood served up 14 points, Olstead had nine kills and Cummins added three kills.

ST. PETERSBURG NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN 3, OUT-OF-DOOR ACADEMY 1 -- Lauren Maxey led the visiting Thunder (12-4) with 13 kills and four aces in a 25-10, 22-25, 25-23, 25-15 loss to the Mustangs.

Cameron Graham added 31 digs and 31 perfect passes for ODA.
