BRADENTON — A man was stabbed in the stomach during an argument in Bradenton on Friday.

The incident occurred at 605 21st Place E., according to a Bradenton Police Department report.

The victim was drinking beer with several other people when he got into an argument, the report indicates.

The argument escalated to the point where the victim was stabbed one time with an unknown weapon.

The victim, apparently left with a non-life-threatening injury, told officers that he didn’t know the person who stabbed him and had never met him, police said.

The stabbing victim was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital. He was described in the report as drunk and uncooperative with law enforcement.

Officers couldn’t determine where the crime scene was based on the victim’s memory, the report states.
