Male threesome triggers domestic assault charge in Manatee

October 10, 2013

MANATEE — A 23-year-old Manatee County man was in the Manatee County jail Thursday on a charge of domestic assault after authorities say he got upset because his partner was in a male “threesome” earlier in the day.

Johnny Anderson became irate at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday and punched a hole in a sheet rock wall inside the home in the 11000 block of Pine Lilly Place he shared with his partner, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

Anderson’s partner told authorities he was scared of Anderson and wanted to leave their home.

The partner said Anderson tried to prevent him from leaving by blocking him. The partner said he got in his car and tried to leave when Anderson punched his car glass window almost breaking it and dented his door from punching it so hard.

The partner said he feared for his life and safety. When the deputy interviewed the partner, he was upset and crying, the report states.

Anderson reportedly told deputies: “I was upset. I punched his car and window. I was not going to hurt him. I love him, but he cheated on me three times and I forgive him.”

Anderson was being held on a $500 bond, according to the sheriff’s office website.
