MANATEE -- Three masked gunmen early Thursday robbed two women during a home invasion in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 12:20 a.m., the assailants, who were wearing black clothing, kicked in the front door of a residence in the 4500 block of 68th Street West, according to a news release.

"Once inside they covered the victims with a blanket and ransacked the house," the report states.

The report did not say what, if anything, was taken.
