Couple robs BP gas station in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A man and a woman robbed a BP gas station in Bradenton late Tuesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 10:19 p.m., the robbers entered the station at 3101 15th St. E. The man aimed a gun at an employee and a customer at the counter, according to the report.

After taking $330, the robbers ran away toward the east. Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspects, the sheriff's office said.

The man was described as standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and a black bandana.

The woman was described as standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She was wearing black jeans, a white long-sleeve shirt and an orange bandana.

No injuries were reported.
