The scoop: Christmas had four tackles (two for loss), six quarterback hurries and a forced fumble in Manatee's 62-0 win over Southeast.

OFFENSE

Josh Meyer, jr., Manatee

Position: QB

The scoop: Meyer completed 14 of 17 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown and rushed or 64 yards and another score in a Class 8A-District 7 victory over Riverview.

DEFENSE

Brandon Luckett, soph., Lakewood Ranch

Position: DB

The scoop: Luckett intercepted two passes, the second one clinching a Class 7A-District 10 victory over North Port.
