Let golf carts cross highway like other motorized devices

October 9, 2013

Like a lot of us here at Palm Bay and Colonial Manor mobile home parks, we don't have a drivers license any more. We use our golf carts to get around.

We would like to be able to go across U.S. 301 at the traffic light only to get our prescriptions, food and sometimes treat ourselves to a fast food meal or ice cream.

There are now people in electric carts, bicycles plus those riding lawn mowers that cross. What's the difference? At least we're bigger and faster than them.
