John R. Russo of Bridge Financial Solutions celebrates 10 years of professional affiliation with the National Association of Tax Professionals, a nonprofit professional association founded in 1979, and committed to excellence in taxation. Association members dedicate themselves to continued education and a high code of ethics and professional conduct.

Broker-Associate Annemarie Boerner and her grandson, Realtor Joseph Boerner, have joined RE/MAX Alliance Group in the Siesta Key office. They were formerly with Michael Saunders & Co. One of their specialties is selling properties on the barrier islands. Annemarie Boerner has been in the real estate industry for 17 years, including 10 years with Waterside Realty.

Born and raised in Germany, she relocated to Sarasota 30 years ago. She cited RE/MAX's excellent reputation and its truly international presence among many reasons they joined RE/MAX Alliance Group. Joseph Boerner attended Indiana-Purdue University Indianapolis and has a background in retail sales and restaurant management.

He previously worked as a manager of The Beach Club on Siesta Key.

John Stafford, chairman of the board for FCCI Insurance Group, has been appointed to the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority. Stafford, 66, of Sarasota, has previously served on the boards of the Suncoast Offshore Powerboat Racing Association, the Suncoast Foundation for Handicapped Children and the Shrine Hospitals of North America Investment Board.

He currently serves on the Sarasota County Sheriff's Advisory Board. He succeeds Gary Kompothecras and is appointed for a term beginning Oct. 3, and ending Nov. 17, 2016.

Jan Fleming has joined the Manatee Avenue West office of Michael Saunders & Co., in Bradenton.

Fleming brings a 30-year background in business, advertising and marketing to her new role as an agent counseling buyers and sellers on how to best navigate the market while exploring the many lifestyle options available in and around the Manatee/Sarasota Counties area. A native of Longview, Texas, Fleming has been a resident of The Inlets, a Bradenton waterfront community, for more than a year.
