Masked, armed man kicks in front door, takes cash, Bradenton Police say


BRADENTON -- A masked man armed with a handgun stole cash and a cell phone after kicking in the front door of a Bradenton home early Saturday, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to the incident sometime around 1:48 a.m., according to a Bradenton Police report. An unknown man had kicked in the door of a residence in the 1400 block of 24th Street East and demanded money, the report states.

The suspect took $60 and a cell phone from the victims, then fled, police said. No injuries were reported.
