Faces in business: Tony DeSantis

Title: President

What was the best business advice you ever received?

The best advice I ever received -- and I've applied it to every business with which I've been involved -- is the customer is always right, even when he is not. You never want to win the battle and lose the war.

If you could choose another profession, what would it be?

Any profession other than printing. All kidding aside, finance. Everything revolves around the dollar, understanding our monetary system is one of the keys to success.

What's the biggest risk you have taken in your career?

There have been several. The most noteworthy would be purchasing a business in an industry of which I had no knowledge, only the knowledge of my ability and unwavering faith in that ability, to learn the industry and make that business a success. I've done this three different times in my business career. I guess you might call me risk taker.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?

I've already traveled quite a bit internationally but if I were to travel today, I'd start right here at home. There is an abundance of beauty in our country and I've yet to see it all.
