United Airlines to add second flight from SRQ to Chicago

October 1, 2013

United Airlines this winter and spring will add a second flight between Chicago and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, the airport announced Tuesday.

"The Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority is pleased to announced that due to increased demand, United Airlines will increase flights between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Chicago O'Hare to twice daily for the period of Feb. 13 through April 7, 2014," a news release states.

United Airlines Flight 883 will depart SRQ at 10:34 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 12:29 p.m.

Chicago-based United last November returned to SRQ for the first time since 1994 when it launched SRQ-to-Chicago service with one flight a day.
