Man robbed in home invasion in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A man was robbed of his wallet during a home invasion in Bradenton early Tuesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 3:39 a.m. in the 1300 block of 56th Avenue Drive East, a 23-year-old man awoke to find two men in his apartment. One of them pointed a gun at him and said, "Where's it at?" a news release states.

The victim pointed at his wallet, which the robbers took and then ran away.

The wallet held $80 in cash and various credit and debit cards, according to the report.

No injuries were reported.
