David M. Silberstein, of Silberstein Law Firm, has been selected as a Florida Super Lawyer in Estate Planning and Probate for the 2013 Florida SuperLawyers Magazine. Silberstein has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer each year since 2006.The honor is awarded toonly 5 percent of the attorneys in Florida each year. Silberstein is FloridaBar Board certified in wills, trusts and estates, and tax law, and specializes in those areas.

Marilyn Goldfarb is the new store manager for Encore & More Consignment Shop, the Women's Resource Center of Sarasota County's nonprofit furniture and fashion boutique. Originally from Lexington, Ky., Goldfarb brings more than 25 years of retail experience to the position. She was previously the director of the 5th Avenue Club at Saks Fifth Avenue in Sarasota.

Halya Sobkiw is returning to the center's Sarasota office as an administrative assistant. Prior to herposition at Encore & More Consignment Shop, Sobkiw spent four years working at the nonprofit's Sarasota office. Susan Merrill will remain the assistant manager.

Leslie Wells Realty's top listing agents for August were Jordan Chancey and Tiffney Mosley. Chancey was also the top selling agent.

United Systems' business technology adviser, Christopher Phillips, recently earned his designation as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), passing the rigorous EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures Examination in the 90th percentile. While undergoing testing to become a CEH, Phillips was exposed to a wide variety of tools that hackers use on a daily basis to invade private networks that are thought to be secure.

Dianne Johns has joined RE/MAX Alliance Group as a sales associate in theBradenton office. She is a member of Richard Capps' team. Johns recently re-tired after working for20 years as an attorney for Florida county government. Johns received her undergraduate degree at Florida State University and her law degree at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Massachusetts.

Fred E. Moore, an attorney and principal at Blalock Walters, received the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.The Martindale-Hubbell ratings are an objective indicator of a lawyer's ethical standards and professional ability. Attorneys receive ratings based on evaluations by other members of the bar and the judiciary. An AV rating is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence. Moore is board certified by The Florida Bar in business litigation law.

Clifford L. Walters III, managing partner of the law firm of Blalock Walters, P.A., has been re-elected as chair of the board of directors of The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art Foundation Inc. for 2013-2014. The Ringling Museum of Art is one of the largest university museum complexes in the country.
