President failing to heed public disdain for more war

September 17, 2013

It is puzzling that the president doesn't comprehend the extent of the public's reaction to a possible U.S. strike on Syria. The public has suffered through more than 10 years of wars that caused numerous American deaths and horrendous amounts of mone that is still going on, and in the case of Iraq, heating up again. Small wonder that the public is expressing a resounding "no."

If proposing a foreign action and he wants the approval of the public, I suggest the president needs a better hand of the pulse of Americans.
