Kudos to collaborators of creative costume exhibit at State College of Florida

September 16, 2013

Kudos to Ken Erickson, theater program director and Joe Loccisano, Fine Art Gallery manager at State College of Florida, for collaborating to present "Art of the Costume Reinvented" in the Fine Art Gallery at SCF.

The exhibit showcases costumes created by Erickson and many talented costume designers in Manatee and Sarasota county theaters. A fascinating and clever use of a myriad of everyday materials (my favorite, a dental retainer; see, if you can find it!) were used to create some amazing beautiful costumes.

The exhibit will be on display 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Fridays through Oct. 16. Don't miss this. I hope it is an annual event.
