Roadside jungle imperils pedestrians on major Bradenton intersection

September 16, 2013

For the last two weeks I had been having car trouble and was not able to use it until my financial situation got better. In the course of those two weeks, I would walk early in the morning to a fast food restaurant about a mile away and unfortunately would be forced to go through lots of weeds sticking up on the side of the road.

The place I am referring to is on the corner of 53rd Avenue West and 14th Street West. I would hope Manatee County, or whoever is responsible for roadside maintenance, can do something about this problem so people do not have to step on the highway to go around this jungle.
