2 robbed in Bradenton

MANATEE — A 27-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man in the 2600 block of Sixth Street Court East reported to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office they were the victims of an armed robbery at 2:42 a.m. Sunday.

The man told deputies he was standing outside when he noticed a gold Lincoln town car with a beige vinyl top drive south on Sixth Street Court East, turn around and drive slowly back, according to a report.

Two suspects reportedly jumped from the back seat, ran up to the victims and pointed guns at their heads telling them to: “Shut up and give me everything you got.” The man lost a silver chain while nothing was taken from the woman, deputies said.

The suspects fled and were not located. One was described as standing 6 feet, inch tall with skinny with dreadlocks, dark clothing and armed with a chrome semi-automatic. The second suspect was described as standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall, skinny, wearing dark clothing and armed with an unknown-type handgun, deputies said.

The were at least two other suspects but no description was given, according to the report.
