Man robbed of his money and bicycle in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A bicyclist riding his way home was robbed at knifepoint of his money and his bike early Wednesday in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

As the bicyclist approached the 3000 block of 14th Street West about 1 a.m., the robber pulled out a knife and demanded money, according to a news release.

The assailant took the money and the bicycle and fled west on 30th Avenue West, deputies said.
