Shame on president, administration over Syria

September 10, 2013

As a long-time supporter of Barack Obama, I am appalled by the president's drive toward war with Syria. Lies, half-truths and evasions seem to be the new way of life at our White House. President Obama's plan, such as it is, has evolved from a quick two-day missile attack to a 60-day war with a 30-day extension.

Secretaries Kerry and Hagel shame themselves, and the nation, for their emphasis upon the horrific deaths suffered by the children of Damascus while ignoring the napalming and Agent Orange chemical murders of millions in Vietnam, Iraq and elsewhere.

Shame on you, Barack Obama, and shame on your administration for this outrage.
