Lincoln class of 1961 CELEBRATION

Local classmates and family members of the Lincoln Memorial High School Class of 1961 celebrated their 70th birthdayS with a luncheon Aug. 17 at the Ritz-Carlton Members Beach Club in Lido Beach. UPC Ladies Golf Assoc. raises funds for school uniforms

The University Park Country Club Ladies Golf Association, along with the support of the 9-Hole LGA, is proud to announce their second year of fund-raising to provide uniforms for Emma E. Booker Elementary School students. There were smiles all around as each kindergarten student started the school year with a new uniform. Dawn Clayton, Principal of Booker Elementary is shown receiving a check for $2,530 from Barbara Romig, LGA Hospitality Chair, and Nancy Kopnisky, LGA President.

WOOF DONATES FUNDS TO 50 LEGS

Women Owners of FL, Inc (WOoF) is proud to announce the contribution of $8,000, presented to 50 Legs, a charity helping to provide prostheses for children who are either under-insured or uninsured. The money was raised through August, beginning Aug. 6 with a fund-raising event at the Blue Door Spa in Bradenton and finishing with various contributions through local businesses and individuals.
