New gallery to openin Village
BRADENTON -- A new gallery, the once over twice, will open in the Village of the Arts, 1113 12th St. W., this fall, according to owner Kim Litch.
The shop focus will be on functional and sculptural objects made from recycled materials.
Litch teaches at Ringling College of Art and Design and has kept her eye on the Village of the Arts for some time now, she said.
"I have always loved the feel and mission of the Village of the Arts," she said. "There's nothing quite like it and with the renewal of the downtown area, the new Riverwalk and the new breweries opening, it was obvious that now is the perfect time to open the 'once over twice' in the Village of the Arts. I think together we are really going to grow and boom into a vibrant art destination in the next few years."
