A racing shell glides across the water as members of the Atlanta Rowing Club head back to the docks after finishing a heat at Benderson Park last weekend during the U.S. Rowing Masters National Championship.
The two bridges connecting North Cattlemen Road to the rowing venues at the park provide a unique perspective to glimpse the boats from directly overhead, and witness firsthand the simple beauty of rowers working in unison to propel their lightweight boats across the water.
Hats off to all the racers who participated and the veritable army of volunteers, young and old, who lend their time and talent toward making this event a resounding success.
