BRADENTON -- A 74-year-old Bradenton man has been arrested and charged with luring or enticing several children in his neighborhood.

Gerardo Flores, who lives in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue West, Bradenton, sat inside his enclosed porch with his front door open and made motions toward children with his hands and blew kisses, according to a Bradenton Police Department report.

One victim told police on Wednesday that children ride their bicycles on the sidewalk in front of the victim's residence and the suspect blows kisses and asks them to come over to him, the report states.

The children also reported that Flores makes a motion with his hands, moving his index finger in and out of a circle he makes with his other hand, according to the report.

Several children reported the same thing, the report states.

Flores is being held in the Manatee County jail subject to a $15,000 bond, according to the sheriff's office website.
