Sarasota police want to question man in 'suspicious incident'

SARASOTA -- Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are attempting to identify the individual shown in two photographs in reference to a suspicious incident that occurred at a city park.

The incident occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Friday at Children's Fountain at Bay Front Park, near the intersection of Ringling Boulevard and Bay Front Drive, police said at a news release.

"This subject is not facing criminal charges at this point. The Sarasota Police Department is attempting to identify this subject to speak with him regarding the event and clarify his involvement," the report states. Anyone with information can call Detective Megan Buck at 941-954-7067.
