Bradenton McDonalds site of strong-armed robbery

MANATEE -- A 21-year-old homeless man was charged with strong arm robbery after he was accused of robbing a woman at McDonalds Friday night.

Christian K. Kaiser, 21, was charged with strong-armed robbery, according to a Manatee County sheriff's report.

According to the report:

A 28-year-old Bradenton woman was robbed of her wallet Friday night at the McDonalds restaurant at 4711 14th St. W.

The incident, which was quickly followed by an arrest, occurred at 8 p.m., according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

The victim and her uncle had driven to the restaurant to buy a beverage. When the victim was about to get back into the vehicle, she was hit on her back by the suspect who then took her wallet and ran.

An off-duty detective who was in the area was informed of the incident.

With the help of two bystanders, Kaiser was caught after a chase.
