Money snatching allegations end in arrest in Bradenton

— A 24-year-old woman who lives on the 200 block of 37th Avenue East in Bradenton, reported to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office money was taken from her purse at 5:18 p.m. Sunday.

The victim said Natalte Politis, 39, who lives on the 3500 block of 30th Lane East, took her money.

The victim said she was dropped off at the suspect's residence for reasons she would not disclose. While standing outside Poltis' residence, the victim said the suspect took cash from her purse, went back into her residence and would not come out.

The victim reportedly became uncooperative when deputies arrived saying she did not want to prosecute.

Poltis was arrested for robbery by sudden snatching.
