Sarasota man arrested after raid uncovers drugs, weapon

SARASOTA -- A 31-year-old Sarasota man was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at a Sarasota residence, according to the Sarasota Police Department.

During the search in the 2400 block of North Osprey Avenue, officers found 16 grams of marijuana, 7 grams of MDMA, a .22-caliber handgun and several rounds of ammunition.

Tory James, 31, was arrested, and faces several drug and weapons-related charges.
