Sheriff: Police dog nabs trespasser at Bayshore High in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A police dog nabbed one of several juveniles trespassing at Bayshore High School early Friday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 12:04 a.m., deputies responding to a report of a burglary in progress at Bayshore High, 5401 34th St. W., saw several juveniles on school grounds.

"Upon MCSO announcement, three of the juveniles fled on foot," the report states.

The K-0 caught up with one of the suspects, and the suspect was bitten on the leg and arm. The other two suspects then stopped, and were arrested, according to the report.

The suspect who was bitten was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to the sheriff's office.
