Vintage Fishing Tackle Exhibit: Palmetto Historical Park and Manatee County Agricultural Museum: 515 10th Ave. W. Palmetto

"Forget Me Not" Emergency Adoption Event: Manatee County Animal Services, 305 25th St. W., Palmetto

The Manatee County Animal Services will host a "Forget Me Not" emergency adoption event 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 27 featuring adoption specials, giveaways, prize drawings, games and more. Bring canned or dry food as a donation. Food and beverages will be served free of charge. Mixon Fruit Farms will host a Summer Antiques, Arts and Crafts Fair 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 27 and every fourth Saturday of the month through September. The Anna Maria Island Privateers will host a "Christmas in July" for all ages, along with the opportunity to Help Rescue Santa's Sleigh 5-9 p.m. July 27, featuring Santa arriving at 6 p.m. offering photo opportunities for everyone. There will be prize drawings, 50/50 and more. Pirates will be posted at the sleigh with Santa's Bag to accept donations. Bring a dish for the Christmas pot luck dinner.
