Bradenton police investigate drowning at trailer park's swimming pool

BRADENTON -- Bradenton police are investigating the drowning death of a man in a swimming pool at a mobile home park.

About 2:07 p.m., officers responded to Bradenton Tropical Palms Trailer Park, 2310 14th St. W., where family members said their son was in the pool for several minutes when they noticed he had not come up from under the water, according to a report.

The relatives jumped in and pulled the victim out water and called 911.

The victim, whose name was not included in the report, was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigating is pending an autopsy, police said.
