Woody Gross of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Bradenton recently won the firm's exclusive Spirit of Caring Award designed to recognize those financial advisers who exemplify the values, culture and spirit of giving back. Jim Weddle, the firm's managing partner, calls Gross a leader in the firm and an example of what a dedicated Edward Jones financial adviser can achieve. Gross was one of only 213 financial advisers out of the firm's more than 12,000 to receive the award.

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine faculty member Dr. Kirk Zeller received the Florida Dental Association's Dental Educator Award.

Alan Galletto has been named top listing agent and Kathleen White has been named top sales agent in the Holmes Beach office for Island Real Estate for June. Gail Tutewiler has been named top listing agent and Adele Holland has been named top listing agent for June at the Anna Maria office.

Right at Home has named Pat Zagony, regional community relations director. Zagony will be responsible for business development with health care professionals, affinity groups and new clients throughout the Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee counties area.

Right at Home has named Linda Amin, R.N., director of nursing. Amin will be responsible for regulatory compliance, staff development, patient nursing services as well as enhancement of personal and companion services throughout the three counties. Right at Home is a national franchise providing nursing care, in-home care and assistance.

Shari Norwick with Keller Williams Sarasota Lakewood Ranch has earned the certified luxury home marketing specialist designation in recognition of her experience and expertise in the luxury home market. Norwick is an award-winning real estate professional who has gone through special training and met performance standards in the upper tier market. She has been in real estate since 2004 and specializes in the Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch markets. Norwick lived in New York City and Long Island before moving to Florida. She is a graduate of SUNY-Stony Brook with a BA in sociology.
