Manatee Habitat for Humanity wrong to put donation box by St. Vincent de Paul thrift store

July 22, 2013

I am extremely upset with Habitat for Humanity. Their placement of a box for (salvage?) of clothes and shoes directly across from the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store is insulting!

St. Vincent de Paul has been at that location for many years and does an outstanding job of helping needy people. Why was that Habitat site necessary?

Having volunteered across this nation as a missionary, I have also volunteered with Habitat. I no longer do so. Shame on you!
