Weather alert: Showers, storms possible Tuesday in Bradenton

MANATEE -- Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday in Bradenton, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 91 and easterly winds of 10 to 15 mph; gusts could reach 21 mph.

The chance of rain is 40 percent, mainly after noon, according to the Weather Service.

Tuesday night, skies will be partly cloudy with a low around 73. The chance of isolated showers and storms is 20 percent.
