Bullets strike two homes in West Bradenton

— Authorities are investigating a drive-by shooting that spayed bullets at two homes and a vehicle in west Bradenton, according to the Manatee Sheriff’s Office.

Unknown suspects reportedly went down the 3400 to 3500 blocks of 9th Street Court West at 2:30 a.m. Saturday and fired several rounds, according to a news release.

One round struck a vehicle and a second round bounced of the exterior walls of a home on the 3400 block of 9th Street Court West.

Another round passed through the exterior walls of a home on the 3500 block of 9th Street Court West and penetrated two interior walls. A 21-year-old man and others were inside sleeping.

The incident was not reported until 7:58 a.m. No injuries were reported.
