Bradenton teen popped for pot, kicking detective

A Bradenton juvenile was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly kicking a police officer, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Detectives were patrolling the 700 block of 8th Street East at 12:04 p.m. when they came in contact with the juvenile who reportedly was sitting in a car that smelled of marijuana.

The suspect was asked to get out of the car by detectives, but he resisted and allegedly kicked one of the detectives.

A detective then reportedly Tasered the juvenile several times before he stopped reisisting.

The juvenile was charged with possesion of marijuana and battery on a law enforcement officer.
