Bradenton woman reports hit-and-run to FHP

The Florida Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run accident involving a Bradenton woman and her 1-year-old baby occurred at 4:29 p.m. Monday.

No injuries were reported.

A 49-year-old Bradenton woman told FHP she was backing her 2012 Ford Focus out of a parking space in a lot on the 6000 block of 14th Street when a gray passenger car of unknown make and model made a right turn into the aisle where she was parked and collided with the left rear of her car.

The second vehicle fled southbound on U.S. 41, the victim told FHP. Anyone who witnessed this crash or has any knowledge as to the identity or location of the hit-and-run driver or vehicle, is asked to contact FHP at 239-938-1800.
