Pets have no place in grocery shopping carts

July 2, 2013

How about that! How would you like to set your groceries where that dog was sitting ... in the shopping cart? You don't see that often but it makes one wonder if the cart should get a good bath before the next customer puts food in it.

I can understand the animal lover's feeling, but how about the feeling of human's food carrier?

Let's make some sense out of this. At least have a blanket or something under the animal in the cart. Is that too much to ask?

I am writing this because I saw this while shopping at a very popular grocery store recently.
