A man was robbed early Friday at gunpoint in front of his home in Bradenton, according to a Manatee sheriff's report.

The victim, 34, told detectives that a friend had dropped him off at his home in the 2900 block of 36th Avenue West at about 1:15 a.m. when two men confronted him.

They had a handgun pointed at him as they robbed him of cash, clothing and a cell phone. They fled the scene in a vehicle, but the victim did not know the type. There were no injuries, according to the report.
