Fire damages West Bradenton commercial structure

— A commercial building undergoing renovation burned for more than an hour early Wednesday in West Bradenton, according to a press release.

At 1:25 a.m., City of Bradenton Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire at 2101 61st St. W, the report stated. Firefighters found the fire in a commercial building undergoing renovation. Fire crews, including West Manatee firefighters, brought the fire under control at 2:35 am.

No one was in the building and there were no injuries. Damage is estimated at $50,000. The cause of the fire under investigation by Bradenton Fire Department.
