Bradenton man robbed at gunpoint

— The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reported a 40-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the 1000 block of 35th Avene West in Bradenton.

The victim reported he had just gotten out of his vehicle holding his phone when a man walked up to him, pulled out a small black pistol and demanded money and the phone.

The vctim gave the suspect his phone and his wallet. The suspect then ripped a necklace off the victim's neck and made him get on the ground face down.

The suspect was described as a male 6-foot-4, 170 pounds, wearing dark clothes and a bandana over his face.

The victim was uninjured.
