Sarasota radio station AM-1280 Fox Sports to broadcast Notre Dame football, basketball

AM-1280 Fox Sports Sarasota plans to announce that it will serve as the area’s exclusive broadcast home for University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football and men’s basketball radio broadcasts during the 2013-14 academic year. The on-air announcement is scheduled for 5:06 p.m.

As per the agreement the station has reached with the Notre Dame IMG Sports Network, AM 1280 Fox Sports Sarasota will broadcast the Fighting Irish’s 12 regular-season home games, bowl game, men’s basketball games, Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly’s weekly show and Notre Dame head basketball coach Mike Brey’s weekly show. Coverage of Notre Dame football on AM 1280 Fox Sports Sarasota will include a Notre Dame IMG Sports Network-produced 60-minute pregame show and a postgame show spanning 30-45 minutes.
