Weather alert: Sunshine, heat and maybe some rain on Monday

MANATEE -- Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible Monday in Bradenton.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 91 and light and variable winds becoming westerly at 5 to 10 mph in the morning. The chance of rain is 20 percent

Monday night, skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 75 and west-northwesterly winds of 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening, according to the Weather Service.
