MANATEE -- Manatee County Animal Services on Tuesday will offer free animal adoptions, as part of nationwide campaign to be a "no kill nation."

As part of the Just One Day campaign, all puppies, kittens, dogs and cats at Animal Services' shelters in Palmetto and downtown Bradenton will be available for no adoption fee on Tuesday. Each adoption includes spay/neuter, health check, vaccinations and microchip. Manatee County residents will have to pay a $15 license fee.
