Gregory S. Hagopian was named parner at the lawfirm now named Czaia, Gallagher & Hagopian, P.A.

Hagopian is an experienced civil trial and board certified criminal trial lawyer. He is a former prosecutor and past president of the Manatee County Bar Association. He has been affiliated with Czaia & Gallagher for more than 10 years.

Hagopian received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida College of Law and an Electrical Engineering Degree from Tufts University. He is licensed to practice in the District Court for Middle District Florida, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and in Massachusetts as well as Florida.

Marie Avery, a local Realtor at RE/MAX Alliance Group, has been awarded the Florida Chapter Member of the Year Award by the Women's Council of Realtors at the annual national awards banquet in Washington, D.C.

This award recognizes one Realtor in each state who is a real estate industry leader; and who shares their time, talent and expertise with others in the profession and in the community. Avery is a broker-associate in the University Park office.

Jennifer Danis has joined SouthTech as a training coordinator. SouthTech is an IT services firm that has delivered and supported infrastructure and business management solutions throughout Florida since 1994. Danis was project coordinator and technician at Kangas & Associates from 2007 to 2013 before joining SouthTech.

BMO Private Bank, a part of BMO Financial Group, has hired Sean J. Keenan as vice president and director of investments. In this role, Keenan will build, manage and communicate the investment performance of his clients' portfolios in conjunction with their agreed-upon goals and objectives.

Keenan, a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Tampa Bay Society, received a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Washington in Seattle. He was awarded the CFA designation in 2005.

Most recently, Keenan served as vice president and senior investment analyst with Wood Asset Management in Sarasota, managing $450 million in assets.

Bay Village of Sarasota announces the appointment of Mollie Hernandez as a sales associate. She will join the award-winning retirement community's marketing team.

A graduate of St. Leo University, Hernandez has specialized in helping retirees make the often difficult transition of moving into retirement and assisted living facilities.
