The school district released its budget cuts Monday.

• 80 district office positions, $3,677,567

• 107 Basic teacher positions, $6,498,003

• 24 ESE teacher positions, $1,737,456

• 41 Rainbow teacher positions, $2,487,839

• 10 ESOL teacher positions, $607,290

• Close Central High School, $1,675,673

• Close the former Manatee Technical Institute campus, $480,664

• Eliminate Internal Audit Department (3 positions) with cap for outsource service, $130,000

• Eliminate the School Board Attorney and with cap for outsource service, $140,000

• A/C temperature to 77 degrees (Energy Savings), $500,000

• Close 100 re-locatable buildings, $293,300

• Sell 53 vehicles (sales per unit $1500, maintenance and gas savings), $174,244

• Reduce Athletic Budget by 2%, $54,000

• 16 Maintenance and Operations staff workers, $667.872

• Sale of IMC Property, $550,550

• Property Sales: Owens/Checkers, includes moving Human Resources, $1,650,000

• Utility cost savings from closing Owen property, $15,000

• Revisions in Transportation Department operations, To Be Determined

• Revision in Central Warehouse function, To Be Determined

• Revision in Print Shop operations, To Be Determined
