Weather alert: Showers, storms possible Monday in Bradenton

MANATEE -- Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Monday in Bradenton.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 88 and east-southeasterly winds of 5 to 7 mph becoming calm. The chance of rain after 2 p.m. is 30 percent.

For Monday night, the chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain at 30 percent before 8 p.m. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 70, according to the Weather Service.
