Bradenton apartment plagued by burglaries

— The Mira Lagos Apartments were the scene of a series of burglaries Saturday and Sunday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Suspects tried to break into three vehicles by prying windows open at the apartments at 442 34th Ave. Dr. E, according to a sheriff’s office report.

A fourth vehicle’s back window was broken out and suspects attempted to take the stereo, according to the report.

Perpetrators also broke into an occupied one apartment and stole a computer, according to the report. The burglaries occurred between 10 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. from Saturday to Sunday.
