Burglar found standing in living room, arrested by police

BRADENTON -- Police arrested a man and charged him with burglarizing a home in Cordova Lakes after being found inside by the residence.

The victim came home to the 6200 block of 37th Avenue West at about 12:25 p.m. Friday to find a burglar standing in the middle of her living room, the Bradenton Police Department said.

The burglar immediately fled and the victim called 911.

Police arrived followed by the Casual Clothes Unit investigators who were able to locate a suspect.

The victim was able to make an identification and the suspect was arrested, a news release said. The suspect was not named in the release.
